北京时间2月12日，美国乡村音乐学院奖(the Academy of Country Music，简称ACM)提名揭晓，刚刚获得格莱美奖的布莱德-佩兹利(Brad Paisley)以七项提名成为最大热门，凯莉-安德伍德(Carrie Underwood)则有机会成为传奇女性。
　　本届美国乡村音乐学院奖提名可谓竞争激烈，分量最重的人物奖(Entertainer of the Year)齐聚了风头正劲的四大乡村歌手肯尼-切斯利(Kenny Chesney)、布莱德-佩兹利、凯莉-安德伍德和妮可-基德曼的老公凯斯-厄班(Keith Urban)。而乔治-斯特雷特(George Strait)则曾被誉为八十年代最有影响力的乡村歌手。值得注意的是，如果凯莉-安德伍德能打败几位男歌手胜出，她将成为ACM创办44年来第七位获得此奖的女性。
　　在全部奖项中，布莱德-佩兹利入围了除了新人、女性和团体奖以外的六项奖项，成为最大热门。原Trick Pony乐队主唱、去年才发行个人首张专辑的海蒂-纽菲尔德(Heidi Newfield)以五项提名紧随其后。“美国偶像”凯莉-安德伍德和乡村新人杰梅-约翰逊(Jamey Johnson)同获三项提名。目前在公告牌上成绩优异的泰勒-斯威夫特(Taylor Swift)仅获两项提名。而杰西卡-辛普森尽管出席了提名仪式，却颗粒无收。
　　乡村音乐学院奖是由美国乡村和西部音乐学院于1964年在洛杉矶创办的。与由美国乡村音乐协会主办的乡村音乐协会奖(The Country Music Association Awards，简称CMA)不同，ACM的宗旨在于在美国西部地区推广乡村音乐。与往年相比，今年的ACM新添了最佳男女歌手和最佳组合奖，由歌迷在网站上投票选出。颁奖礼将在4月5日举行。
